In April 2026, four women will dive headfirst into the neon-soaked nostalgia of Hawkins After Dark: A Totally Bitchin’ Weekend, an exclusive women only 21+ Stranger Things inspired retreat set across Fayetteville, Atlanta, and Jackson, Georgia. Over three unforgettable days, they’ll share an 80s camp style bunk space inside the legendary Will Byers House, complete with a 75" TV for binging Stranger Things episodes, BMX bikes for cruising just like the kids, 80s flashlights for late-night adventures, and Dungeons & Dragons alongside other nostalgic relics pulled straight from the era. Days will be packed with cinematic photoshoots that drop them right into Hawkins, a guided walking tour through iconic filming spots, an escape room challenge to test their wits, and a bus tour visiting memorable filming locations tied to Eddie Munson and Billy Hargrove. Evenings will glow with the warmth of a classic 80s pizza party, the comfort of shared laughter, and the bonds of new friendships. This is an intimate, immersive journey into the heart of Hawkins—thrilling, nostalgic, and made for women who want to live the story, not just watch it.

Day 1
Friday April 10, 2026
Welcome to Hawkins!
Guests arrive and check in at 5:00 PM at the legendary Will Byers House, their cozy home-away-from-home for the weekend. After settling into the 80s camp–style bunk space, unpacking, and getting a feel for the nostalgic vibe, the adventure officially begins. As twilight falls, the group heads to Jackson, Georgia, for an unforgettable 80s-themed party at Hawkins Headquarters, where the night sparkles with delicious dinner, karaoke, and all the retro fun you could dream of. Neon lights, throwback music, and playful energy set the tone for the weekend, giving everyone a chance to laugh, dance, and bond.
The rest of the evening is yours to relax, unwind, and connect with fellow women on the retreat. Share stories, explore the house’s hidden 80s treasures, or just soak in the magic of stepping into Hawkins. It’s the perfect opening chapter to a weekend full of mystery, adventure, and nostalgic thrills that will carry you straight into the heart of the Stranger Things universe.
Day 2
Saturday April 11, 2026
Vecna's Artsy Side!
The day kicks off with breakfast at the Will Byers House, followed by time to get ready for a full day of immersive photoshoots. Cosplay is highly encouraged, and boudoir sessions are welcome indoors, offering a playful, intimate vibe. Guests explore iconic rooms of the house including Will’s room, Jonathan’s room, the kitchen, the Rainbow Room bathroom, the Upside Down bunk room, and the legendary living room with its glowing Christmas lights. Both 80s fashion and outdoor spaces are fair game, and props scattered throughout the house are available for creative use.
After a light lunch, the group heads to Jackson, Georgia, for a guided walking tour with Stranger Tours, combining sightseeing with photography opportunities at real Stranger Things filming locations. Dinner follows at a nearby tavern, featuring themed drinks that capture the world of Hawkins. The day culminates with an adrenaline-pumping Escape Room challenge in the Upside Down, confronting the mysterious Vecna with puzzles and thrills that bring the show’s suspense to life.
Day 3
Sunday April 12, 2026
One Last Adventure!
Sunday dawns early as the group gears up for one final adventure. Drivers will travel from the Will Byers House to Jackson, Georgia, to board the bus bound for Atlanta, keeping their vehicles with them. The day unfolds like a living episode of Stranger Things, visiting multiple filming locations and iconic locations of our favorite bad boys, Eddie Munson and Billy Hargrove on a guided bus tour! This includes lunch served and episodes playing on the bus to keep the Hawkins vibe alive.
Every stop offers prime opportunities for tourism photography, capturing memories in the world of the Upside Down. The retreat concludes as the bus returns to Jackson, Georgia, closing out a weekend of thrills, nostalgia, and unforgettable experiences. If traveling from NC, clients can follow us back to Western NC.
Where Are We Staying?
The property’s exterior was used to film all of the scenes set at the Byers’ home and influenced the design of the interior sets, which were built in a nearby studio. We've meticulously designed the home interior as an immersive vacation rental inspired by the show, complete with authentic '80s decor. The Byers House is a fan-driven project and not affiliated with Netflix. However, we are dedicated to honoring the spirit of the show. Located just 15-20 minutes from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and 10 minutes from Trilith Studios, this unique vacation rental offers an immersive experience and a one-of-a-kind stay for superfans and nostalgic travelers alike.

- Watch Stranger Things episodes under the interactive Christmas light wall inspired by the Byers’ living room from the series.
- Play board games or Dungeons and Dragons in the Upside Down-inspired bunk room.
- Listen to vinyl records or play Amiga 500 games in Jonathan’s room.
- Watch classic movies on VHS tapes on the old-school CRT TV and VCR in the living room.
- Ride BMX bikes around the property.
- Enjoy the period-accurate decor inspired by the show.

- Full balance must be paid by March 1, 2026.
- Monthly payments are required. Multiple payments or higher payments are always welcome.
- Payment amounts may vary slightly depending on your deposit date.
- Booking earlier means smaller monthly payments — payment plans are flexible to help you manage.
- A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your spot. Not eligible for transfers.
- There are no refunds or discounts for cancellations, missed events, late arrivals, early departures, travel delays, illness, or any unforeseen circumstances.
- Participants must honor their payment plans as agreed in the signed contract.
- If a client stops communicating or stops making payments without notice, they forfeit their spot with no refund or transfer.

Participants must be 21+ with a valid ID provided during application.
Locations and schedules may change due to venue conflicts, weather, or unforeseen issues — no refunds or discounts will be given. Backup plans will be in place to ensure a great experience.
Clients are responsible for their own travel to and from the retreat. The Spooky Girl Retreats team provides transportation only during the retreat to scheduled shoots, events, and restaurants.
